K-2 Base Camp(5100M) Gondogoro La(5700M)
We follow the same route as the Concordia trek up the Baltoro Glacier but we continue up past Broad Peak to K2 Base Camp where we spend a night, allowing time to absorb the unique atmosphere and environment surrounding this unforgettable mountain. Our return trek takes us over the spectacular Gondogoro La, a dramatic high col that affords further stunning views of the Gasherbrum peaks. We purposefully cross this pass in the early hours of the morning so, given good weather, we are rewarded with a tremendous golden sunshine in one of the most dramatic places on earth. Our trek is one of the few that actually camps overnight at K2 Base Camp rather than a days walk away. Check this out.

Eid Ul Adha In Pakistan
Eid- Ul- Adha is one of the special festivals of Muslim. Eid- Ul –Adha is also known as Bakr- Eid and festival of sacrifice. On this festival Muslims sacrifice their domestic animals like goat (Bakr- Eid), sheep, cow, camel etc. This sacrifice made by Muslims is a symbol of sacrifice made by prophet Abraham.
Eid- Ul –Adha celebrations start after the Hajj. The first day of Eid- Ul –Adha is celebrated on the tenth day of Duhl -Hijja, that is the last month of the Islamic year. In some areas. Eid- Ul –Adha is celebrated for several days by Muslims.
When is Eid- Ul- Adha ?
This year Eid- Ul- Adha is falling on 16th November 2010.
Muslims celebrate the festival of Eid- Ul –Adha with lot of enthusiasm, enjoying each and every moment. On this day Muslims dress themselves in new clothes. Early in the morning prayers are recited by them to remember God and then the day beings with the breakfast of Sheer Korma.
Soon after the breakfast the animal is forfeited and then the meat of the slaughtered animal is distribute among the neighbors, friends, family and poor people. It is believed that the meat of the sacrificed animal must be distributed in three equal parts among neighbors and friends, family members and poor people.
Muslims greet each other with well wishes for the festival along with the meat of the slaughtered animal. Muslims spend time with their near and dear ones to spread love and happiness all around.
In the evening Muslims visit to the places of their near and dear ones and celebrate the festival. Delicious food and drinks are served to all those people who visit Muslim places on this festival.
To celebrate Eid- Ul –Adha in a creative way, kids can make hand made Eid- Ul –Adha greetings and present them to all their near and dear ones. For those who have no time to visit markets to buy Eid- Ul –Adha greetings and have no free time to make hand made Eid- Ul –Adha greetings, for them online Eid- Ul –Adha greetings would be the best option.
The markets also remain open and decorated on the occasion of Eid for all the Muslims to do their shoppings. Children also enjoy this festival by wearing new clothes and playing games. Eid is the festival when all the children have a real fun time as they get gifts, clothes, sweets, perks and love from all their near and dear ones. Children also make special handmade Eid Greetings for all their Friends and notice all the Eid traditions followed by their parents and are excited to follow the same when they grow up. Send Eid Ul Adha Cards, Eid Greeting Cards, Eid Mubarak Cards to your loved ones.
So celebrate this Eid- Ul –Adha in a different and creative way to remember it forever.
Most Pakistanis view US as enemy
A new opinion poll has found that most Pakistanis view the United States as an enemy and are opposed to the US-led war in Afghanistan.
The poll conducted by Pew Research Center suggests 65 percent of Pakistanis want US and NATO soldiers out of Afghanistan as soon as possible.
The image of the US is the lowest among 22 nations included in the survey that was conducted on two thousand Pakistanis.
Despite billions of dollars Islamabad receives from Washington in economic and military aid, only eight percent trust US President Barack Obama -- the lowest rating of the 22-nation survey -- the study shows.
The survey also shows that people in Pakistan are less concerned about the Taliban and al-Qaeda than in 2009.
The poll shows that US drone strikes remain deeply unpopular among Pakistani people.
The US army has extended the drone strikes in Pakistan during the last 18 months.
Some 50 of 146 strikes carried out in Pakistan since 2004 have occurred in 2010 alone that killed dozens of people, according to data released by the Washington-based New America Foundation.

I Hate To Call Myself Pakistan
Two brothers were killed brutally in public in Sialkot, Pakistan, for injuring four people at a cricket match.
Today I was watching news and came to know about the incident happen in Sialkot. Two brothers were killed brutally in public. At the start media show they were criminal and anger people killed them. After some time media call them innocent people and blaming police force who were standing near the people who beaten those boys badly. Media can stop them? why they don't why they only try to get footage for their channel? Why they don't force the police to stop them?
This is Pakistan?I feel my self ashamed that I am Pakistani. I think not only public and Police but also media also responsible for this shameful act.

Speak, your lips are free.
Speak, your lips are free.
Speak, it is your own tongue.
Speak, it is your own body.
Speak, your life is still yours.
Speak, it is your own tongue.
Speak, it is your own body.
Speak, your life is still yours.
The locks open their jaws,
And every chain begins to break.
Speak, this brief hour is long enough
Before the death of body and tongue:
Speak, 'cause the truth is not dead yet,
Speak, speak, whatever you must speak.
Before the death of body and tongue:
Speak, 'cause the truth is not dead yet,
Speak, speak, whatever you must speak.
